I am a builder who does not wish to spend a lot of money on house
plans.
Plansource offers more than 160 catalog plans in many sizes and styles that
are designed for the Florida market. These plans are available at a cost
much less than traditional custom-designed house plans.
I have my own engineer. Can I use him/her?
Yes. You can purchase just the architectural sets from us and have your
own engineer complete the plans.
I am a builder who builds homes a multiple number of times and
have my own drafting department. Do I have to pay a re-use fee each time?
No. You can purchase our CD-ROM of the house plans. That purchase gives
you the drawing files and an unlimited license to build the house as many
times as you wish.
I see a home plan that I like, but would like to see more detail
than is shown in the catalog.
Order our “Study Set” for the house. If you ultimately purchase
that house plan, the amount of the study set will be credited.
I see a house plan that I like, but I want to make some changes
to it. Can I do that?
Yes. We customize any plan in our catalog, including new elevation and specification
changes. Please contact us for service prices. Think of our plans as your
starting point – this is where experienced design creates the difference.
Do you provide custom plans?
Yes. We do custom plans for any builder. We also offer services that include:
engineering, artwork, document maintenance, drafting, and architectural
review for communities. Please contact us for
service prices.
Do you have presentation artwork for clients?
Yes. You can order full-color presentation artwork for any plan in our catalog.
Customization of artwork is priced on a per job basis.
To what code are these plans designed?
All plans reference the 2004 Florida Building Code with December 8, 2006
amendments. The plans are automatically updated to each subsequent statewide
building code. Updates to prior purchases are excluded, however, we can
update prior purchases as an additional service.
How often do you publish your catalogs and how do I get future
catalogs?
We publish a full catalog in January of each year, with an insert added
in July. If you do not already receive our catalogs, contact us through
our website, www.plansonline.com,
or by phone, 813-909-2941, to have your name added to our mailing list.
We also attend SEBC in Orlando, FL each summer.
How much are your plans?
Please refer to the Pricing and Ordering section of our website, www.plansonline.com.
How large are the homes?
The number of each plan is equal to the air-conditioned square footage of
the home. Contact us for questions regarding total
square footage.
How can I obtain another copy of the permit instructions that came
with my plans?
The instructions are available here.
How do I contact the engineer if I need assistance after I have
started construction?

and click on Forms to submit questions to the engineer.
